Golf is a sport that fascinates many people. On the golf course, every person, every movement, every blade of grass, and every air molecule is very pleasing to the eye. This playing field requires every move to be spot on, including driving a golf cart.
Due to different seasons and golf course conditions, clubs will implement different driving rules for golf carts. There are two most common ones:
1. Golf carts are only allowed to drive on the driveway. This rule applies to courses with relatively wet and soft ground. The purpose is to avoid damage to the fairway turf due to the rolling of golf cart tires.
2. 90 degree rule. This rule requires golf carts to mainly drive on the lane. After reaching a position flush with the ball landing point, it can turn at a 90-degree right angle and drive across the fairway directly to the ball position. After the player hits the ball, drive the cart back to the fairway along the original path and continue moving forward. Implementing the 90-degree rule allows players to drive to the tee while minimizing damage to the fairway grass.
