According to the relevant provisions of the GB11567.2-2001 standard, a movable barrier is used to impact the rear lower protective device of a truck to mainly examine the dynamic performance of the protective device:
a. Blocking function to prevent rear-end vehicles from getting into the lower part of the truck and causing injuries to the passengers;
b. Buffering and energy-absorbing function, softening impacts, reducing occupant injuries, and improving collision compatibility.
According to the relevant test requirements in the GB11567.2-2001 standard, the mass of the mobile barrier is 1100±25 kg, the front-end collision surface is rigid, the width is 1700 mm, the height is 400 mm, and the ground clearance is 240 mm. Cover the front of the collision surface with a layer of high-quality plywood 20mm thick. At the moment of collision, the speed of the moving barrier should be 30~32 km/h.
The collision results should meet the following requirements:
a. During the collision, the rear protective device may deform and crack, but it is not allowed to fall off as a whole;
b. During the collision, the rear protective device should be able to absorb the collision energy and mitigate the impact, and the maximum deceleration of the moving barrier shall not be greater than 40g, and the rebound speed of the moving barrier shall not be greater than 2 m/s;
c. After the collision, the longitudinal horizontal distance between the rear part of the rear protective device and the rear end of the vehicle cannot exceed 400 mm.
