How Long Is The Maintenance Interval For Pickup Trucks

Jun 27, 2025

Electric Pickup Trucks are very different from traditional fuel vehicles in terms of maintenance, which mainly revolves around the three-electric system (battery, motor, and electronic control). The following are key maintenance items and cycles:
1. Power battery system
Check the appearance of the battery pack for damage and leakage once a month
Perform a battery health test every 3 months or 10,000 kilometers
Perform battery balancing maintenance every 2 years or 80,000 kilometers
2. Motor and electronic control system
Check the motor coolant status every 6 months
Check the tightness of the motor terminal every 10,000 kilometers
Check the insulation performance of the electronic control system every 20,000 kilometers
3. Braking system
Check the thickness of the brake pad every 10,000 kilometers (it is recommended to replace the thickness less than 5mm)
Replace the brake fluid once every 2 years
Check the regenerative braking function every month
4. Chassis and suspension
Check chassis fasteners every 10,000 kilometers
Check the suspension system status every 20,000 kilometers
Check the steering system every 3 months
5. Cooling system
Check the cooling pipe every 6 months
Replace the motor coolant once a year
Clean the radiator every 3 months
6. Daily inspection
Check the charging port before each charging
Check the tire pressure every week
Check the appearance of the high-voltage wiring harness every month
It is recommended to go to the authorized service station for a comprehensive inspection every 10,000 kilometers or 6 months. The maintenance interval should be shortened in extreme weather or heavy load conditions. Please refer to the Pickup Truck manual for the specific period.
